“Basically I am a theatre artiste. I always feel comfortable to perform in the plays. After working in the big screen I have also been fascinated and affectionate with the film arena,” said noted actress Dolly Zahur while sharing her feelings to work in two new movies.
Her two new movies are: “Nache Nagin Baje Bin,” directed by Delwar Jahan Jhontu and “Dui Prithibi,” directed by FI Manik.
In movie ‘Dui Prithibi,’ she performed in the role of mother of Shakib Khan. Works of the movie ‘Nache Nagin Baje Bin’ has completed, while works of ‘Dui Prithibi’ is going on at present.
Dolly lastly performed in movie ‘Ek Takar Chhele Koti Takar Meye,’ directed by Komol Sarker. In that movie, she performed in the role of mother of Maruf and Samrat.
Dolly Zahur is popularly known as a drama artiste. Her debut movie ‘Ashadharon,’ directed by Rahim Newaz. She got national film award as best actress for her performance in the movie ‘Shankhonil Karagar.’ Late she again got the same award for the movie ‘Ghani,’ directed by Kazi Morshedul.
