Bike rental startup launches in Dhaka

News Desk : dhakamirror.com

People from all walks of life and from all over the country rush to the capital city for a variety of reasons. On the way down, everyone is in a hurry to get to their destination as soon as possible because there are traffic jams, problems with public transportation, and not enough private transportation.

In this way, many people prefer motorcycles, so in May of this year, Chaad Ride opened the first motorcycle rental business in the country.

This company lets anyone with a driver’s license rent motorcycles or scooties by the hour, the day, or even the month.

You have to pay Tk. 58 per hour to rent a bike by the hour. Depending on the quality of the motorcycle you want to rent, the monthly cost will be between Tk 4,800 and Tk 7,600. If you take it every year, it will cost you between Tk 28,000 and Tk 38,000.

The company was started by four friends: Naeem Hossain Mahtab, Soumitra Barua, Maksudur Rahman Faruqi, and Borhan Uddin Chowdhury.

Even though the four friends work in different fields, they are now in business together because of Chaad Ride.

Now, their company rents out at least 30 bikes and scootersregularly . There are 15 officers working with them right now.

Any man or woman who knows how to ride a bike can rent one.

To rent a bike from Chaad Ride, you need to give them your name, photo, NID card, a copy of your driver’s license, your current and permanent addresses, your mobile number, a copy of the guarantor’s NID card, and the guarantor’s mobile number. This person can be a friend, family member, or relative.

Each bike is insured for safety, and drivers can also get insurance in case of an accident.

Install the Chaad Ride app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store to use it.

Then, open the app and type in your name, phone number, password, and one-time password. After signing up, go to the page where you sign in and enter your phone number and password.

For bike booking to go through, the admin needs to check out the profile.

To get your profile verified, go to the home page and click on “My Profile.” Then, update your profile by adding the required information and wait for the admin to verify it.

The customer is ready to book a bike once the admin has checked his or her profile.

You can find out more about what they do at https://chaadride.com. The business also has a page on Facebook. They also have two places to store the bikes.

Customers must pick up the bike from the office, but if they want the bike delivered to a location of their choice, the company’s staff will do so for an extra Tk. 300.

Faruque Ahmed, the company’s customer relationship manager, said, “So far, everything has been great. In the last six months, no customer has had an accident. And there is no way to lose the bike because it is always being tracked. When the customer brings back the bike and the key with a happy smile, it’s a big relief.”

Chaad Ride rented a bike to a customer named Sohel Rana. He said, “Renting a bike is a great thing to do. It saves time and gives you more freedom. And the rent is pretty cheap. Also, I can go out with different types of bikes on different days, which feels great.”

Mahtab, the founder and CEO of Chaad Ride, says that Chaad Ride wants to offer their services in district cities in the future.

Also, they want to work with four-wheelers, private cars, and agricultural implements.
