Syed Mahfujul Haque Marjan from the Department of Criminology and Muhammad Omor Faruq from the Department of Islamic History and Culture are the other two faculty members who have been demoted.
Omor, who had the position of assistant professor, was downgraded to lecturer, and his PhD was revoked. Former lecturer Marjan is currently on a study leave.
