An admission fair for the Summer Semester 2022 has started at Manarat International University in Dhaka, said a press release. The fair was inaugurated by Md Nazrul Islam, vice-chancellor of the university on Wednesday morning. The seven-day fair will continue till March 15, 2022.
The dean of Business and Economics Md Harun-Ar-Rashid, registrar Md Manirul Islam, head of English associate professor Ahmad Mahbub-ul-Alam, head of Pharmacy associate professor Nargis Sultana Chowdhury, head of CSE associate professor Muhammad Sajjad Hussain, head of Law associate professor Mohammad Azharul Islam, head of EEE assistant professor KM Aktheruzzaman, head of Business Administration assistant professor Rokeya Sultana, head (in-charge) of Journalism and Media Studies assistant professor Rafiquzzaman, and the coordinator of the Centre of General Education assistant professor Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad were present during the inauguration of the admission fair.
During the fair, admission in various programmes would get 50 per cent waiver on the admission fee.
In addition, there is a regular 5 per cent to 100 per cent waiver on the tuition fees based on the results of SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations.
Those who have GPA-5 in both SSC and HSC examinations except the fourth subject will get a 100 per cent waiver on the tuition fees.
The children of freedom fighters, the poor, and the meritorious also have the opportunity to be awarded up to 100 per cent scholarship.
A special package has been announced for those who are interested in EEE (Day and Evening), CSE (Evening), LLB, Journalism and Media Studies, Islamic Studies (Regular and Weekend), MBA (Regular and Executive), and the MA in English (Regular and Evening). Students will complete their studies at the minimum tuition fee prescribed under this package.
