There will be no Junior School Certificate (JSC) and its equivalent Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) exams this year, Education Minister Dipu Moni said on Sunday.
Since no JSC and JDC exams will be held, the respective educational institution will evaluate its students, she said this at a press conference held at the education ministry this morning.
The decision has been taken as the authorities will not get enough time to take preparations for the JSC and JDC exams after the HSC exams this year, according to officials from the education ministry and education board.
