The dates for the famed Bengali singer, songwriter, and composer Kabir Suman’s upcoming performances in Dhaka were released on Wednesday,.

Kabir Suman will play three solo concerts at the Bangladesh National Museum in Dhaka on October 15, 18, and 21 at 2:00pm, 3:00pm, and 4:30pm, respectively. The event schedules and ticket prices were posted on Kabir Suman’s Facebook page. Beginning at 700 Tk, tickets are available.

Event management organisation Peephole is the organiser of the concerts and Bengal Classic Tea is the sponsor.

‘We received permission for organising the concerts from the authority concerned on Monday. We are currently printing tickets. We are looking forward to start selling tickets at the outlets of Rosh, Rang Bangladesh and Pathak Shamabesh from Friday or Saturday,’ Fuad Bin Omar, a partner of Peephole said.

The concerts for Kabir Suman will also commemorate the 30th anniversary of his well-known solo album, Tomake Chai. The musician last had a performance in Dhaka in October 2009. He began his musical career in 1972.
