Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot. The couple has officially married, Indian media reported on Thursday, quoting sources at the wedding.The couple took to Instagram and shared their first pictures from their wedding ceremony. “Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment. Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together,” Vicky Kaushal wrote. Katrina also shared a series of pictures on her Instagram account with the same caption.The wedding was a close-knit affair at Rajasthan’s Six Senses Fort Barwara, Sawai Madhopur district, with family and close friends in attendance.
The wedding festivities were kept intensely private. From a no photos NDA clause to no sharing of pictures and location on social media, the entire ceremony was presumably a spectacular but secretive affair.
While fans were kept largely in the dark on the days when the mehendi and sangeet were held (December 7 and 8), media did manage to snap photos of various guests heading to Jaipur. From Katrina’s family to filmmaker Kabir Khan, actress Neha Dhupia, and musician Gurdas Maan, a number of people were spotted at
the Mumbai airport as they got ready to catch a flight to Jaipur. Guests were required to follow Covid-19 protocols.
A grand reception will be thrown for Vicky and Katrina’s colleagues and friends in the coming days.
On the work front, both Vicky and Katrina are basking in the success of “Sardar Udham” and “Sooryavanshi”, respectively.

The wedding festivities are well underway and the events like Mehendi, Sangeet and Haldi are already done.The main wedding will likely take place today evening in a traditional Punjabi ceremony with all Hindu rituals. There are also reports of a white Christian wedding to be held though nothing about the same can be confirmed. The wedding is taking place at Six Senses Fort Barwara resort at Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan. The entire resort has been booked for the wedding and all the suites are reserved for the guests and the families of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal.
Six Senses is a stunning 14th-century fort which has been restored and converted to become a lavish resort with all modern day amenities. The fort resort was originally owned by a Rajasthani Royal Family and it oversees the Chauth ka Barwara Mandir temple. Getting hitched in such a lavish location is truly a dream come
true for Bollywood star Katrina Kaif.
Many fans also took to twitter to congratulate the actress on her biggest dream coming true. Many also felt happy for her as she managed to manifest her wishes to the world and they were finally brought to life. Reportedly, Vicky Kaushal will enter the wedding venue on horseback whereas Katrina Kaif will be carried into
the venue in true regal style in a doli or a palanquin.
