Bollywood Hot and Sexy Actress Katrina Kaif tops the Sexiest Women 2011 list of men’s lifestyle magazine FHM, edging out Deepika Padukone who won the title last year. Katrina had won the title in 2008 and 2009 too.The FHM 100 Sexiest Women list is based on online and SMS voting and saw a whopping 35,000 responses this year.
“We’d love to say 2011 was a close contest, only Sheila made sure it was far from. A feat that becomes even more significant because no woman in the world across all 28 editions of FHM has ever won the Sexiest Woman in the World title three times in the last 17 years that we’ve been making the list. Her average is higher than Sachin Tendulkar’s and she replaces Deepika Padukone who won the crown in 2010,” said Kabeer Sharma, executive editor FHM India, in a statement.
Katrina seems to be the toast of the season — she was the only Bollywood actress to feature on the India Today’s Elite Power list and is also the most Google-searched Indian celebrity.

According to a poll conducted by Chakpak movie portal Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are the most wanted Valentine’s Day dates. Well, not for each other definitely.Ranbir and Katrina have topped a list of Bollywood actors with whom the youngsters will like to go on a date with this Valentine’s Day. Though Shahid Kapoor was declared as the sexiest male star by the portal, Ranbir ruled the hearts of the young girls.
Ranbir received 39.4% votes leaving behind Shahid with 37.7% votes from the female fans as their Valentine dates. Imran Khan stood at the number three position with 15.9% votes, while Ranveer Singh and Abhay Deol were at the bottom of the list with 4.5 and 2.5 percent respectively.
When it comes to male fans choice, then Katrina Kaif led the league with a big share of 35.6% followed by Deepika Padukone with 22.4% votes. Actress Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor got 17.5, 12.4 and 12.1 percent votes respectively.
The poll was for the Bollywood lovers who fantasize Bollywood celebrities as their valentine dates. The portal also conducted a poll on the sexiest man in Bollywood, in which Shahid Kapoor led the leagues leaving behind John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan in the race.

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has announced the launch of ‘Next Stop Bollywood’, an online dance competition with Katrina Kaif, the airline’s brand ambassador.Since Bollywood dance is synonymous with India and resonates with millions of Indian fans at home and globally, it provides a perfect vehicle to communicate and connect with this large audience.
Katrina Kaif said, “I am very excited to partner with Etihad and share my experience with Bollywood fans and aspiring dancers in this project, which hopes to attract and promote new talent.”
Andrew Ward, Etihad Airways’ Vice President Marketing, said, “We like to do things differently. To break through the clutter we like communicating and growing our brand footprint with innovative marketing and communication programs.

The online competition will be run through a custom-built Facebook application where contestants can upload and share their dance videos for public voting.
The 10 videos with the maximum number of votes will be short listed and Katrina Kaif will select and announce the three finalists and the ultimate winner on May 20, 2011.
The first prize is a lunch with Katrina and USD 5,000 cash prize, two Pearl Business Class tickets, and accommodation in a 5-star hotel for five nights. The second runner up will receive two Pearl Business class tickets, and the third runner-up, two Coral Economy class tickets to anywhere on the Etihad network across 66 destinations.
