Bangladesh coach Stuart Law has cautioned his charges that they will be taken to task if they are not ready to listen to him.
During a press briefing on Monday ahead of the month-long Zimbabwe tour, Law said: ‘I am here to help along with other coaching staff, to try and get the best out of the players. The best way to do that is to make them feel comfortable, feel relaxed and hopefully the results will turn. If that’s not the approach we will soon find out and will have to make a call on them,’ said Law.
His comment came less than a week after the Tigers’ embattled skipper Sakib al Hasan lambasted the selectors for not discussing the team with him before officially disclosing it.
Sakib also did not turn up for the first two practice sessions under new coach Law as he was busy shooting a commercial for a yogurt called Shakti Doi, that too without taking leave from the concerned authoritities.
However, Sakib attended the optional training session of the national team on Monday where he worked on his batting with Law for half an hour, followed by an hour-long bowling session.
