The music video of the duet song Baper Boro Pola recorded by renowned folk singer Momtaz Begum and Belal Khan will be released on YouTube on Monday, said a press release.Belal Khan has composed the music for the song, which has been written by Shomeshwar Oli. The song will be released on Belal Khan’s official YouTube channel on Monday.
Al Amin and Adib have arranged the music for the song while Shuvabrata Sarker has directed the music video. Besides, Rehnuma Mustafa, Zaher Alvi and a group of dancers have performed in the music video choreographed by Ruhul Amin.
Momtaz said, ‘Earlier, I lent my voice to a song under the direction of Belal Khan for the film Nekabbarer Mahaprayan in 2014. We both won National Film Awards for the song. Baper Boro Pola is a completely different type of song which was created for the younger generation audience. We had a lot of fun while filming the video. I hope
that the audience will enjoy the song.’
Belal Khan said, ‘I composed this song for Momtaz. This song was created for the younger generation audience. I am happy because Momtaz has lent her voice to this song. We are optimistic about the success of the song.’
Besides Belal Khan’s official YouTube channel, the song will also be made available on local and international music streaming platforms, including Spotify, iTunes, Gaana, Swadhin, GP Music and others.
