Preparations have been made to hold the main Eid-ul-Fitr jamaat at National Eidgah in the capital on Eid day.
Necessary arrangements including waterproof shed, fans, sitting place, toilets and ablution facilities have been set up at the Eidgah where more than 1 lakh devotees including the president, ministers, judges, lawmakers and diplomats will say their prayers.
If the weather is favourable, the first jamaat will be held at the Eidgah at 8:30am.
In case of inclement weather, the jamaat will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 9:00am.
Besides, arrangements for around five thousand women will be available at one side of the Eidgah with a separate entrance.

4 lakh musullis offer prayers at Solakia
Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of the Muslims, is being celebrated across the country on Wednesday.
After a month-long fasting, Muslims sought divine blessings, peace, progress and prosperity in Eid congregations across the country.
The main jamaat (congregation) held at the National Eidgah on the High Court premises in the city at 8:30am.
President Zillur Rahman offered his Eid prayers along with hundreds of people from different walks of life on the National Eidgah.
The chief justice, several ministers, state ministers, Dhaka city mayor, judges of the Supreme Court, senior political leaders, diplomats of different Muslim countries and high civil and military officials also offered prayers at the main Eid jamaat.

Muhammad Salahuddin conducted the Eid prayers.
A special munajat was offered seeking divine blessings for peace and development of the country, welfare of the people and greater unity of the Muslim Ummah.
The country’s biggest Eid congregation held at Sholakhia Eidgah in Kishoreganj.
Around 4 lakh musullis from remote places of the country and even abroad gathered there to perform their Eid prayers, reports our Kishoreganj correspondent.
The Solakia Edgah is highly decorated on the occasion of Eid festivals and the premises present a colourful look with decoration and lighting around. A vast arrangement of sound system is also made throughout the maidan.
Moulana Farid Uddin Masud conducted the country’s largest Eid congregation.
Thousands of people have already left the capital to celebrate the Eid with their loved ones.
The three-day public holiday on this occasion started Tuesday.
President Zillur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in separate messages have greeted the countrymen and the Muslim ummah nations on the occasion.
The Eid is also being celebrated in Bangladesh missions abroad.
Special diets are being served in hospitals, jails, government-owned children and shelter homes, socially handicapped and vagabond welfare centres and shelter homes for the destitute.
Bangladesh Betar and Bangladesh Television as well as private television channels and radio stations are broadcasting special programmes on this occasion.
Leaders of different political and socio cultural organisations in their messages greeted the people.
