The radio stations of the country are taking preparations to celebrate upcoming Eid festival with great enthusiasm through arranging a range of special programmes starting from the day before Eid day and continuing till the third day of the festival.
A drama Formalin Prem starring Tishma, Mimi, Mahmud Shahin and Shafiq Tuhin will be aired at 11:00 am on Eid day on Radio Today. Two comedy shows Fuska Chat, participated by Saju Khadem and Ruby; and Back To Back, partaken by the RJs and producers of radio Today, will be aired respectively at 2:00pm and 5:00pm on the Eid day. A musical show Gaane Gaane Eid Adda featuring songs of Fahmida Nabi will be aired at 10:00pm on the same day.
The following day, Comedy show Eid Comedy with Shahin, anchored by RJ Shahin; debate show Eid Debate, anchored by RJ Shayer, Shabbir and VJ Alif, Tanisha; and a musical show titled Band Show will be aired at 10:00am, 2:00pm and 10:00pm respectively.
Radio Amar has also arranged four-day Eid celebration programme that will commence with the airing of a three-hour musical programme Eider Chand at 8:00pm on the night before Eid. Musical programmes Mishti Mukh, Off Air, Music Juke, Eid Special Rock box and Gaan and Fun will be broadcasted on Eid day.
On the second day of the festival, special programmes of radio Amar will be Eid News Uncut, Road to On Air, Eid Special Jolsha and Eid Special Talk to Me, among others.
Radio Amar listeners will get the chance to interact with celebrities through different live programmes. Singer Balam wil be present in Eid Special Tarar mela at 10:00am; Bappa Mazumdar in Eid Junction at 01:00pm; Fahmida Nabi in Eid Special Gaaner Golpo at 4:00pm; and Tahsan and Mithila in Aamar Bhalobasha at 8:00pm.
Radio ABC has also arranged five-day special programme targeting the upcoming Eid. A series programme Rupali Anondo on Dhaliwood songs and news will be aired at 12:00pm. Film star Ferdous along with his wife; and national film award winning couple Popy-Chanchal will be present respectively on the second and third day of the programme. Pran Mango Juice Studio Live show will be aired everyday at 11:00pm. Popular bands Shironaamhin, Cremetic-X, Carnival, Urban Fiction, Shunno, Parthib, Cryptic Fate and D-illumination will perform at the programme on different days.
