Just like Nicole Richie, Scarlett Johansson is setting the record straight about recent rumblings that she has a baby on board.“Scarlett is not pregnant,” the actress’ rep said in a statement.
The rumors began after Johansson was spotted looking a tad full in the belly area, while out for a run with Owen Wilson and new beau Sean Penn. But Scarlett’s mouthpiece says it was just a wardrobe issue that sent the Internet buzzing with pregnancy talk.
“She’s outside running and it’s simply the placement of her shirt that is misleading,” the rep explained. “She’s been training for The Avengers for over four months and is in the best shape of her life.”
The Planned Parenthood supporter, 26, reportedly began dating Penn, 50, in February. Though her rep denied the romance, the couple has been spending plenty of time together. They jetted off to Mexico for a romantic getaway and Scarlett even took her man as her date to Reese Witherspoon’s wedding last month.
And even an ex-girlfriend of Penn’s says these two are made for each other!
“They’re great together!” Sports Illustrated model Jessica White, who dated Penn in 2009 and 2010, told UsMagazine.com. “Sean is a really lovely man…(he) needs a good woman in his life.”
If things keep going well with Penn, maybe Johansson (who recently divorced Ryan Reynolds) will have a bun in the oven in the future. Just not quite yet!
