Bank Asia has elected Safwan Choudhury and Mohammed Lakiotullah as its vice-chairmen, the bank said in a statement yesterday.
\nThe election was held at the bank’s board meeting on Wednesday.
\nChoudhury, a former president of Sylhet Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is also the senior\u00a0vice-chairman of Bangladesh Tea Association and the president of Friends in Village Development in Bangladesh.
\nLakiotullah, also an independent director of the bank, has over 38 years of banking experience. He is a former managing director of Jamuna Bank and the founder managing director of Exim Bank Ltd.<\/p>\n
