Cabinet okays 9:00am to 3:30pm
\n<\/em>Office hours during Ramadan will be from 9:00am to 3:30pm for government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous organisations.
\nThe cabinet at its regular weekly meeting at Bangladesh Secretariat yesterday fixed the new\u00a0office timing with Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
\nBriefing newsmen after the meeting PM’s Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad said, banks, insurances and financial institutes, post offices, railway, hospitals, government-owned industries, and other emergency service-providing organisations will fix their own time schedule according to their own regulations, taking the public requirements into consideration.
\nHe told that the Supreme Court would fix its own and other courts’ timings.
\nThe meeting also approved the drafts of Climate Change Trust Act, 2010 and Administrative Tribunal (Amendment) Act, 2010, Azad said, adding that the government has already allotted Tk 1400 crore in 2009-10 and 2010-2011 fiscal years after creating Climate Change Trust Fund.<\/p>\n
