Delwar Hossain became runner-up in the ITF Asian U-14 Tennis Championship at theTeinbow Tennis Centre, Yangon, on Wednesday, which rewarded him with a place in the ITF team. The team, comprised of three boys and three girls, will now participate in another ITF Under-14 Asian Championship, to be held in March this year. Delwar, who finished third in the earlier edition of the tournament, lost to\u00a0Al Ansi Ghasan of Yemen by straight 2-6, 2-6 sets. Apart from Delwar, the other Bangladeshi participants Wai Mong Marma and Delwar Hossain Sajal got fifth and 18th places respectively. In the girls’ event, Bangladesh’s Ishita Afroze finished 15th while Jhilik Chakma and Ayesha Sultana finished 16th and 20th.<\/p>\n
