\nThe Dhaka Stock Exchange recorded significant rise on Sunday amid increased turnover, helping stocks to gain across the board.
\nThe DSE General Index, the benchmark index, rose 73 points or 2.89 per cent to close at 2,591 from 2,518 points on Thursday while the All Shares Price Index increased 62 points or 2.96 per cent to 2,146 from 2,084.
\nSome 196 issues out of the total 223 traded on the day registered gains while 21 incurred losses and six remained unchanged.
\nThe day\u2019s total turnover increased substantially to Tk 247 crore on Sunday from Tk 182 crore on\u00a0Thursday.
\nACI Formulations, Beximco Pharma, Titas Gas, Summit Power, Beximco, Uttara
\nBank, Shinepukur Ceramics, ACI, GRAMEENS2, and National Bank were the day\u2019s turnover leaders in terms of value.
\nThe day\u2019s volume leaders were AIMS 1st Mutual Fund, ACI Formulations, Beximco Pharma, Beximco Textiles, Shinepukur Ceramics, GRAMEENS2, Beximco, Quasem Dry Cell, Golden Son, and Zeal Bangla.
\nTop gainers of the day were Rupali Bank, Renwick, United Insurance, Quasem Dry Cell, Kay & Que, Zeal Bangla, Bangas, Golden Son, Sonar Bangla Insurance, and East Land Insurance.
\nTop losers were Monospool, Standard Ceramics, Paper Processing, Bengal Fine, Apex Spinning, Meghna Condensed Milk, Gachihata, Rahima Food, Aramit Cement, and Meghna Pet.<\/p>\n
