<\/a>A young penguin which escaped from a Tokyo aquarium has been caught after more than two months on the run.
\nThe Humboldt penguin scaled a 13ft (4m) wall and slipped through a barbed wire fence at the Tokyo Sea Life Park in March.
\nThe bird, known only as 337, was later spotted alive in the rivers of the Japanese capital, but managed to elude keepers.
\nThe 1-year-old fugitive was finally recaptured by two keepers on Thursday evening on a river bank in the Tokyo Bay area, the BBC reports.
\n“It hasn’t lost weight,” the Tokyo Sea Life Park spokesman said. “It hasn’t got fatter either but its health seems good.”
\nKazuhiro Sakamoto, vice-head of the aquarium, said he was “relieved to see the penguin come back alive”.<\/p>\n
