<\/a>The television channels of the country have chalked out special programmes in order to celebrate the 114th birth anniversary of
\nnational poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.
\nThe list of programmes consists of plays and telefilms; shows featuring music, dance and recitation; talk shows and magazine programmes.
\nPrivate TV chanell ETV will air Nazrul special programmes on Saturday and Sunday including drama Bangsha at 10.05am, music show Bhalobaso Mor Gaan at 11.30am, dance programme Anjali Loho Mor at 12.30pm and recitation programme at 5.30pm among others.
\nATN Bangla will showcase a dance programme Nargis at 11.50am, a music show Benuka at 1.20pm and a special drama Shilpi at 10.55pm.
\nRTV is scheduled to air a special music programme Gaaner Nazrul at 7.30pm. Another music programme Rudrabanir Jhanker will be broadcasted live at 11.20pm where noted Nazrul singers Khairul Anam Shakil, Yasmin Mustary and Anindita Chowdhury will be singing.
\nChannel 24 will also telecast music programme titled Anjali Loho Mor at 8.15pm where contemporary singer Kona will present some famous songs of Nazrul.
\nMaasranga\u2019s programme for the day consists of music show Agnibeenar Baji at 10.00am, special drama Sheulimala at 12.05pm, special magazine programme Sanchita at 11:00pm. Another music programme Bangla Gaaner Utso will be aired by the channel at 9pm where famous singers from Pashchimbanga and Bangladesh will perform.
\nChannel i will hold a Nazrul fair at its premises at Tejgaon that will be aired live from 11.05am to 2.00pm. The channel will also show a movie Rakhhasi, based on a story by Nazrul at 2.40pm and a special drama Bather Daan at 7.05pm.
\nMoreover, other TV channels also will showcase special programmes to mark the poet\u2019s birth anniversary.<\/p>\n
