Prime Bank South Zone got off to a flying start in the Bangladesh Cricket League as they won by 216 runs against BCB North Zone in the first match at Fatullah on Friday.\u00a0Prime skipper Abdur Razzak mesmerised the opposition with a brilliant spell of 6-69 as BCB outfit were all-out in their second\u00a0innings for just 167 while chasing 384 to win.\u00a0Sohag Gazi gave him good support by picking up three wickets for 37 runs.
\nNaeem Islam scored 65 for BCB, who were bundled out in just 64.3 overs in the last session of the final day.
\nResuming on 213-2, Prime earlier declared their second innings for 266-3.
\nAnamul Haque, who was 96 not out overnight, was eventually out for 111 while Tushar Imran and Ziaur Rahman remained unbeaten on 53 and 30 respectively.
\nTaijul Islam picked up two wickets for BCB North.
\nEarlier in the first day, Prime Bank won the toss and decided to bat first before they find themselves to a precarious situation of 19-4.
\nAnamul scored 94 and Nurul Hasan made 78 before Sohag struck a 108 to help prime amassed 352.
\nIn reply, BCB North Zone could score only 235 runs in their first innings to concede a 117-run lead.<\/p>\n
