Leg-spinner Jubair Hossain is frustrated to go into the series against India consisting of lone Test match with lack of match practice but remained hopeful to come up with his best, if selected in the final XI.\u00a0Jubair did not play any competitive match for the last two months and yet got selected in the 14-man squad on Wednesday at the insistence of captain Mushfiqur Rahim and coach Chandika Hathurusinghe.

\n\u2018[But] I kept myself busy preparing myself for the series and worked extensively with Mario [fitness trainer Mario Villavarayan] regarding my fitness,\u2019 said Jubair.
\n\u2018I learned few tricks over the past few months and hope to introduce them in the coming days.\u2019
\nJubair was in the squad for the Pakistan Test but did not play any game.
\nHe was reportedly selected for the second Test but still missed it as he suffered a freak ankle injury night before the game started at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
\nJubair admitted that there is no better way to prepare than playing matches.
\n\u2018It\u2019s right that there is lack of match practice as far as I am concerned. But at the same time I used my time to improve my variations,\u2019 he said.
\n\u2018I am focused on controlling the flipper on the nets and. I hope it will help me to become more effective.\u2019<\/p>\n
