Bangladesh\u2019s Taskin Ahmed and Arafat Sunny vowed to come back strongly after they were suspended by the International Cricket Council for illegal bowling action on Saturday.
\nThe duo was considered to be vital cog in Tigers\u2019 attack in the ongoing ICC Twenty20 World Cup but they had to quit at the halfway stage duo to this unexpected result.The ICC on Saturday provisionally suspended the duo after independent analysis revealed that their actions are illegal.
\n\u2018Arafat\u2019s analysis revealed that the elbow extension for majority of his deliveries had exceeded the 15 degrees level of tolerance permitted under the ICC regulations for the review of bowlers reported with suspected illegal bowling Actions, while not all of Taskin\u2019s deliveries were legal,\u2019 said the ICC press release.
\nBangladesh coach Chandika Hathurusinghe said that it is mentally hard for the players while they are going through such a phase.
\n\u2018It is hard mentally but then this is how you have to prepare,\u2019 Hathurusinghe told regarding the duo\u2019s condition.
\nBoth the players sounded they had the mental strength to fight it out during the crisis period.
\nTaskin said that he seen several ups and downs in his little career and is pretty confident that this too shall pass by.
\n\u2018I had an injury before returning to the national set-up and during that time I passed a very difficult time,\u2019 said Taskin.
\n\u2018It had made me take things on a simpler note no matter how complicated it might look,\u2019 he said.
\n\u2018I am sure this too shall pass,\u2019 he said.
\nLeft-arm spinner Arafat Sunny vowed that he would make an attempt to return in the national set-up by rectifying his bowling action.
\n\u2018It is not the end of the world,\u2019 said Sunny.
\n\u2018There is always a second chance.
\n\u2018I will try to rectify my action and try to make a comeback and I am sure it is possible under the perfect guidance,\u2019 he said.
\nBangladesh were left stunned with the timing of the ICC concern over the bowling actions of two of their bowlers.
\nSunny and Taskin have been reported with suspect bowling actions during their side\u2019s opening match in the ICC World Twenty20 against the Netherlands in Dharamsala on March 9.
\nThe duo underwent bio-metric tests respectively on March 12 and March 14 and was waiting for the report that determined their future course of action.<\/p>\n
