Bangladesh all-rounder Mosaddek Hossain is all set to make his return to the competitive cricket with the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League as he recovered completely from his eye-infection.
\nMosaddek sustained the infection during a training camp at Dhaka prior to the home series against Australia and was left out of the squad for the conditioning camp in Chittagong.Although the 21-year old all-rounder was initially picked up for the two-match Test series against the Aussies the team management was forced to drop him after he failed to overcome from his eye-infection.
\nThe right-handed batsman was also taken to Thailand for better treatment but it took far too many days for him to recover from such viral infection which caused him missing the whole South Africa tour also.
\nMosaddek was last featured in the semi-final match of ICC Champions Trophy against India at Birmingham in June and since then he was out of any competitive cricket for nearly four months.
\nThe middle-order batsman on Friday confirmed that he was not feeling any trouble with his eye-infection now and he was completely ready to make his comeback in cricket with upcoming BPL, scheduled from November 4.
\nMosaddek also revealed that he would be available from the beginning of the season for his team Dhaka Dynamites where he was retained as one of the three local players with Mohammad Shahid and Mehedi Maruf before the players\u2019 draft.
\n\u2018My illness is not troubling me at all. Now I\u2019m feeling well. I will make my comeback in the BPL and play from the start of the tournament,\u2019 Mosaddek told New Age.
\nThis would be his third BPL for Mosaddek with Dhaka after he made his debut in the tournament in 2015.
\nMosaddek played a crucial part in Dhaka\u2019s triumph in the last year\u2019s BPL scoring 304 runs in 13 innings, third highest for his team behind Kumar Sangakkara and Mehedi Maruf.
\nThe all-rounder said that he had been doing his practice for the last two weeks and was hopeful to score more runs than the previous year for his team.
\n\u2018I have been in practice for the last 15-20 days. I\u2019ll start my practice with my team [Dhaka Dynamites] from the 29th [Sunday] in Mirpur,\u2019 he said.
\n\u2018I think I will be able to play much better than what I played in the last year,\u2019 he added.
\nThe defending champions Dhaka will take on newcomers Sylhet Sixers in the tournament opener on November 4 at Sylhet.<\/p>\n
