A Dhaka metropolitan magistrate court on Thursday put Dhallywood star Pori Moni on a one-day remand for the third time. Dhaka metropolitan magistrate Atikul Islam passed the order. The actress was produced before the court by the Criminal Investigation Department in a case filed under the Narcotics Control Act. The CID requested the court to allow them a five-day remand to interrogate the actress in their custody.
\nPori Moni was arrested on August 4 from her Banani residence allegedly with liquor bottles and a case under the Narcotic Control Act was filed with Banani police station in this regard. On the following day, Pori Moni and her assistant Dipu were placed on a four-day remand each by metropolitan magistrate Md Mamunur Rashid in the case.
