<\/a>Artiste Suborna Morsheada’s solo exhibition “Onneshon” is underway at Capital’s EMK Centre, featuring 31 artworks which was inaugurated on Saturday (15 January) on EMK Centre’s premises.
\nThe inaugural ceremony was graced by Professor Jamal Ahmed (Faculty of Fine Art), along with special guests Professor Anisuzzaman (Graphics department), Asif Uddin Ahmed and Tawhida Shiropa, acting director of EMK centre and Founder and CEO of Moner Bondhu, among others.
\nSuborna is a graduate from the Department of Fine Art, University of Dhaka. She has been an artiste since she was a student and participated in several artiste residency programmes both in and outside the country.
\nSome of her solo exhibitions are “ELATION” in Goa, India and “Nothing is real, Real is nothing”, Nepal, among others.
\nSuborna’s works were also exhibited at Asian Art Biennale, National Art Exhibition. Apart from participating, the artiste has also curated artworks in exhibitions organised by different embassies. She has also done many book cover illustrations throughout her career.
