\nLocals didn\u2019t take the incident light-heartedly and went overboard. A case had been registered against the actors citing obscenity and seeking FIRs. However, later, two supreme court judge bench suspended the arrest warrants that had been issued by a local court in Rajasthan.
\nRecently, the Metropolitan Magistrate Ketaki Chavan issued a statement where she stated that Shilpa Shetty cleared her position shortly after the infamous incident. The magistrate also clarified that she is satisfied that the charges against the actress are \u201cgroundless\u201d.
\nAfter reviewing the papers, the court gave clean chit to Shetty and discharged her from the alleged offences. The order reads, \u201cNot a single element of any of the alleged offenses is being satisfied in the complaint. Moreover, none of the papers annexed with the final report discloses the act of the present accused so as to
\nbring her within the purview of Section 34 of IPC (common intention).\u201d
\nShilpa Shetty was booked under the IPC sections 292, 293, 294(obscenity) along with the Information technology and Indecent representation of women(prohibition) act.
\nThe Hungama 2 actress had filed for discharge under section 239 and 245 that claimed that the allegations against her were \u201conly that she did not protest when she was kissed by the co-accused Richard Gere \u201d which made her a conspirator or perpetrator to the crime.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
