Former Pakistan cricketer and holder of the world record for fastest bowling Shoaib Akhtar has revealed that “Rawalpindi Express,” his biography, is currently under development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Akhtar also conducted a \u2018Question and Answer\u2019 session with his fans on the new project, asking them to tweet their thoughts using the hashtag #RawalpindiExpressTheFilm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The film is being directed by Faraz Qaiser under the banner of Qfilmproductions. The short clip featured a very misty frame with train tracks at the centre and Akhtar\u2019s character, with his back to the camera, running. The camera zoomed in on him and his jersey with the number 14 took up the screen all the while a train siren is audible in the background though no locomotive is seen. The teaser also revealed the release date for the film \u2014 November 16, 2023. The director, Muhammad Faraz Qaiser, said actualising an idea he had in 2016 is like a dream come true for him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
