Single-episode TV play “Aloker Ei Jhornadhara” will be aired on ETV on the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr at 11:30 pm. Written and directed by Arun Chowdhury and Chayanaika Chowdhury respectively, the cast of the play includes Tinni, Apurba, Tamalika Karmakar and Prova.
The story follows a newly married couple who are on a five-day honeymoon at Cox’s Bazar. The husband is a professor and the wife works at a bank. They have made romantic plans to get to know each other better, as theirs was an arranged marriage.
During the trip, a seemingly stranger approaches the husband. When the husband doesn’t respond the young woman goes away, irritated. Suspicion takes over the wife; honeymoon is reduced to three days. When the couple is about to leave the hotel, a letter at the front desk gives the play a twist.
