Eleven youths were sued yesterday for harassing girl students of Rayerbazar High School in the capital and attacking the school’s managing committee chief.
Abul Kashem Khan, president of the managing body, filed the case with Hazaribagh Police Station.
Most of the accused are residents of Rayerbazar. Of them, eight were named and the rest unnamed.
When Kashem protested their teasing girl students at the school gate around noon yesterday, they beat him up and snatched his sunglasses.
Salahuddin Karim, investigation officer of the case, said the youths are aged between 22 and 27 years.
Officer-in-charge Enamul Haque said they have identified their whereabouts and would soon pick them up.
