A total of 110 nomination forms were sold for the upcoming Bangladesh Hockey Federation election, to be held on June 27. The Abahani-backed panel bought 55 nomination papers while the Mohammedan-backed panel bought 53 and two forms were purchased by independent candidates.
A total of 71 councillors are expected to cast their votes to elect a 28-member executive committee in the polls.
The candidates will submit their nomination papers on June 16.
