A total 148 birds were recovered from Kaptanbazar of the capital on Monday.
The Rapid Action Battallion-3, led by magistrate AHM Anawar Pasha, conducted the four-hour drive in eight shops and three warehouses.
During the drive, they recovered 148 birds of different species — 14 Mynas, 18 Parrots, 1 Eagle, 3 sparrows and112 Munias.
They also jailed 13 people.
