Members of National Security Intelligence (NSI) held 16 Rohingyas and a Bangladeshi broker from a bus counter in the district town on Thursday night, foiling their attempt to go to India. The arrested broker, Sheikh Alam, son of Sheikh Saidur Rahman, hails from Laxmidori village in Sadar upazila. Satkhira NSI deputy director Shahidul Islam said acting on a tip-off, they arrested the Myanmar nationals along their Bangladeshi broker from a ticket counter of ‘Eagle Paribahan’ of the town in the evening while they reached there by a bus to go to India.
