The World Marketing Summit has opened up new avenues of opportunities for students as Microsoft, Amazon, Google and others companies intended to sponsor tickets for 20 lakh Bangladeshi students at the cost of almost Tk 1700 crore.
Abu Yousuf Md Abdullah, the chairman of Northern Education Group, shared the information at a news conference in the hall room of Bangladesh Institute of International Higher Studies on Monday, said a press release.
World Marketing Summit, a global company led by Professor Philip Kotler, has been organising marketing events in many countries since 2010. Its main objective is to provide marketing ideas, developing awareness and giving knowledge about modern marketing in order to decrease poverty, enlarging business, and to
develop health as well as environment.
It has taken special initiative to prosper the world of 100 crore youngsters in the next 10 years, said Abu Yousuf Md Abdullah.
Northern University Bangladesh and Kotler Impact Cooperative have also decided to publish essential modern marketing book and establish Kotler Business School, said Kotler Impact Inc CEO Fahim Kibria.
Northern University vice-chancellor Anwar Hossain, pro-vice-chancellor Nazrul Islam, treasurer Md Ekramul Islam, registrar retired commodore M Munirul Islam, the deans of different departments, chairpersons, faculties, administrative staff, and the CEOs were also present.
