The government has announced to give the National Film Award 2012 to 24 artists and film professionals in recognition of their outstanding contributions to development of Bengali movies, reports UNB. The National Film Award 2012 will be given in 24 categories this year, said a PID handout on Thursday. The awardees are: Best film- Uttarer Sur (Producer Faridur Reza Sagor), Best director- Humayun Ahmed (Ghetuputra Komola), Best actor- Shakib Khan (Khodar Pore Maa), Best actress- Joya Ahsan (Chorabali), Best side actor- ATM Shamsuzzaman (Chorabali), Best side actress- Lucy Thripti Gomez (Uttarer Sur), Best villain- Shahiduzzaman Selim (Chorabali), Best storywriter- Shahnewaz Kakoli (Chorabali), Best screenwriter- Humayun Ahmed (Ghetuputra Kamola), Best dialogue writer- Redwan Rony (Chorabali), Best child actor- Mamun (Ghetuoutra Komola), Best child actor special award- Meghla (Uttarer Sur), Best photographer- Mahfuzur Rahman (Ghetuputra Komola), Best singer, male- Polash (Khodar Pore Maa), Best singer, female- Runa Laila (Tumi Ashbay Bole), Best songwriter- Milton Khodokar (Khodar Pore Maa), Best song composer – Emon Shah (Pitha), Best music director- Emon Shah (Ghetuputra Komola), Best makeup- Khalilur Rahman (Ghetuputra Komola), Best costume- S.M.Mainuddin (Ghetuputra Komola), Best editor- Salimullah (Ghetuputra Komola), Best Sounder- Ripon Nag (Chorabali) Best art director- Kalantor and Uttom Guha And last Life achievement award- Khalilullah Khan.
