Three workers of Dye Ammonia Phosphate, a state-owned fertiliser company, were electrocuted on Saturday evening at 5:00pm in the port city.
The deceased are Shahabuddin, 30, Maruf, 20 and Waij Uddin, 40.
Sub-inspector of Chittagong Medical College outpost Md Jahir said that they came in contact with a broken live wire of a machine lying on the floor at the bagging unit.
They were taken to CMCH in a critical condition where the trio died at 6:00pm, he added.
