The Express Systems Limited on Wednesday launched a range of video conferencing and internet telephony products of AddPack in the country.
The ESL will distribute various AddPack products for IP (internet protocol) telephony, VoIP (voice over internet protocol), video surveillance, and video conferencing.
Speaking in the launching ceremony at the Dhaka Sheraton Hotel, information Ministry’s consultant Munir Hasan said, ‘we have no alternative to embracing this type of technology a part of our life.’
A good number of companies would get the licence of trading this type of products in the next few months, he hoped, as the government has recently lifted the bar from the VoIP business.
AddPack’s regional sales director Eric Hong said, ‘I hope all the companies of Bangladesh will start using VoIP in the next two or three years.’
Importing VoIP and video conferencing products shall play a major role in building the ‘Digital Bangladesh,’ said Abdul Fattah, chairman of ESL.
