WiMAX operator Banglalion Communica-tions Limited launched its operation in Barisal on Saturday.
On the occasion, a press conference was held at BDS auditorium in the city.
Banglalion offers packages starting from 128Kbps to 5Mbps at the monthly payment of Tk 600 to Tk 15,000.
It has also announced a special package for students and media professionals — they can get 256Kbps connection of the Banglalion WiMAX at Tk 800.
Chief commercial officer of Banglalion WiMAX, Md Shafiul Haque Chowdhury and head of media and communications GM Faruq Khan addressed the press.
The chief commercial officer said, ‘With the inception of our service in Barisal, Banglalion has successfully completed their march to all divisional headquarters of Bangladesh.’
