Iranian coach Ali Akbar is scheduled to arrive here this morning to take charge of three-time Bangladesh League champions Abahani for the upcoming season.
Akbar, an AFC instructor and who has experience to guide an Iranian professional football club, is expected to put pen to paper for six months, said manager Satyajit Das Rupu adding that they just want to him to guide the teams in the right way.
Last season, Argentine trainer Diego Alvaro worked with the Sky Blues after his compatriot Diego Andres Cruciani coached the Dhanmondi-based outfit during the second edition of the Bangladesh League.
