The election of the Narsingdi district Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held at the hall room of the chamber office at Bilashdi in the Narsingdi town on Thursday.
AK Fazlul Haque was elected president and Md Ruhul Amin senior vice-president and MA Halim vice-president of the trade body.
On September 3, a total of 12 directors from general group and six directors from associate group were elected.
The directors are Aliur Rahman Ratan, Hanif Mia, Abu Taher Abdullah, Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Aftab Uddin Bhuiyan, Kazimuddin, Nizamuddin Bhuiyan, Abdul Kuddus, Moniruzzaman, Saiful Islam, Babul Sarker, Tajul Islam, Nure Alam Siddiki, Tayebur Rahman and Omar Farque.
Chairman of the election board of the Narsingdi district Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mohammed Golam Mostafa announced the result.
