To celebrate the festival of Durga Puja, Desh TV and Ekushey Television will air several special programmes. While Desh TV has planned special programmes for three days, ETV will air its Puja-specials over two days.
The Puja-special programmes on Desh TV will go on air from October 15, kicking off with Morshedul Islam’s feature film “Priyotomeshu”. The film will be aired at 3 pm. The channel will also air special TV plays, musical programmes and talk shows. On October 15, celebrity talk show “Ja Kichhu Prothom” (at 7:45pm) and TV play “Bijoya” (at 9:45pm) will be aired.
Singer Kumar Bishwajit is the guest artiste on “Ja Kichhu Prothom”. “Bijoya” features Abul Hayat, Farhana Mili and Rahul Anand in the lead roles. Golam Sohrab Dodul is the director of the play.
On October 16, Desh TV will telecast Puja live from Banani Mandap, starting from 7:45 pm. On the 3rd day, a solo musical programme featuring renowned Indian singer Hoimonti Shukla will be aired at 9:45 pm.
ETV’s two-day special programmes also include TV plays, talk shows, feature films and musical performances. On the first day, “Shubho Bijoya” will be aired at 9:30am. The channel will air TV play “Shoudamini” at 10:10 pm. Directed by Rulin Rahman, the play features Tarique Anam Khan and Tania Ahmed as protagonists.
Documentary programme “Oitijhye Bangalir Debaloy” will be aired on October 17 at 11:30 am. Feature film “Ram-er Shumoti” will be aired the same day at 1:30 pm. Celebrity talk show “Sharodiyo Adda” will be aired at 6:30 pm. Dance programme “Mamo Chandrika” will be aired at 7:50pm. Indian band ‘Desh’ will be featured on “Phone O Live Studio Concert”. The programme will begin at 12am.
