In a career that hasn’t exactly been short of milestones, Lady Gaga has racked up yet another: she’s become the first artist ever to reach one billion views of her music videos on YouTube. This surpasses her previous online PB of reaching one billion views of her videos on the internet as a whole.
The current queen of pop thankfully managed to beat the reigning king of tween pop Justin Bieber to the slightly arbitrary round number, although he is expected to reach it by November. Second is the first loser, Bieber – remember that.
‘We reached one billion views on YouTube little monsters,’ GaGa tweeted after hearing the news. ‘If we stick together we can do anything. I dub you kings and queens of YouTube! Unite!’
