Popular actresses Monalisa and Tisha are going to perform together in a short play titled ‘Emotional Abdul Matin’. Both of them will perform against popular actor Zahid Hasan. Though Zahid Hasan earlier performed with both Monalisa and Trisha separately, they all are together in a play for first time. Zahid Hasan will play the role of central character ‘Abdul Matin’ in this play while Monalisa and Tisha will represent the characters Bilkis and Dilkhush. The play was written and directed by Himu Akram. The story of the play features an emotional young boy named Abdul Matin who became frustrated after being cheated by his girl friend Bilkis and decided to commit suicide. According to the suggestion of his friends, he tried to commit suicide 11 times but never succeeded. He finally contracted with some professional killers to kill him. In the meantime, Dilkhush who was a student of Abdul Matin, fell in love with Matin and Matin also responded positively to her proposal. Matin wants to live now but a question rose there whether the killers will leave him alive? About the play, Zahid Hasan said, “Listening to the story of the play from the director, I agreed to work with him. The story of the play is really exceptional”. While expressing her feelings about the play, Monalis said, “The story of the play is comparatively better than the other contemporary plays”. The short-play will be produced under the banner of Dholeshwori Telefilm. Popular TV channel ETV will air the play. Beside Zahid, Monalisa and Tisha, the cast of the play included Mahmudul Islam Mithu, Kachi Khandakar and Shamima Naznin.
