Popular dance artiste, model and TV actress Farzana Riya Chowdhury will be seen as a judge in a dance competition based TV reality show. Title of the show is “Mangoli Nacho Bangladesh Nacho”. Riya has agreed to work as a judge in the show recently.
Regarding Ria being judge, director of the programme Shahnur Khan Ripon told this correspondent, “Basically, Riya has replaced to our another judge actress Shaon. Shaon won’t be joining us before next month, so it was impossible to postpone the show, as the second round’s selection has already been started. So by discussing with others we have decided to take Riya as our new judge”.
The second round’s selection of “Mangoli Nacho Bangladesh Nacho” has been started from April 16. Here 175 contestants are going to face the judgement of Shibli Muhammad, Riya and Ferdous.
The judges will select only 90 contestants to go forward for the 3rd round and from that round 45 contestants will go forward for the 4th round.
For the first time Riya will be seen as a judge of a reality show. Regarding her being judge, Riya said, “It is really very hard to play in the role of a judge of a dance contest. We are getting very good contestants and selecting the best among them is very difficult. But I will always try to give my best effort as a judge and hope we will introduce some good dancers to the country”.
“Mangoli Nacho Bangladesh Nacho” is being aired every Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9:05pm on Banglavision. The director informed that the show would end before the Ramzan.
