The draw for the Super Cup will be held on June 6 with eight teams divided into two groups of four competing in the cash-rich football tournament, the Bangladesh Football
Federation said on Sunday after a meeting of its competitions committee.
The BFF said it is in talks with two event management firms to promote the tournament, which will get underway on June 14.
‘We are talking with two event management companies for branding the tournament. Because of this branding our budget will increase by Tk 25 lakh,’ said Tabith
Awal, chairman of the competition committee.
The BFF’s initial budget for the tournament was Tk 2 crore with the winners receiving Tk 50 lakh as prize money.
