The 4th annual Social Business Day will be observed on June 28 with the theme of ‘turning visions into realities’ at the Radisson Hotel in the city.

The Social Business Day 2013 will be a platform to share experiences in the growing field of social business – non dividend companies to solve social problems, said a news release on Sunday.
The event will give 1,000 participants, including 150 from 30 other countries, opportunity to discuss face-to-face with social business entrepreneurs from around the world about their work, business models, recent achievements and challenges.
The release said that this year’s Social Business Day, as before, would be daylong programme which would include plenary discussions among notable participants, special presentations, and speech by Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus.
Participants will hear first-hand accounts from representatives of social business organisations around the world who have been working in the field.
There will be a social business marketplace which will showcase the products and programmes of social business working in Bangladesh and various countries of Asia, Europe and Latin America.
Speakers at the event will include Danone, France CEO Emmanuel Faber, Chaudhary Group, Nepal chairman Binod Chaudhary, Prince of Seremban State, Malaysia YAM Tunku Redhauddin, UN Youth Ambassador Monique Coleman, the National University of Malaysia deputy vice-chancellor Rahmah Mohamed and Dialogue in the Dark, Germany founder Andrea Heinecke.
