London College of Legal Studies South on Sunday organised a Pre-Training Preparation for Bar Professional Training Course that would lead the students to
the qualification of a Bar-at-Law on its own premises.
The course designers M Istiaq Hasan and Rezwanul Haque Mazumdar said they thought of designing the course aiming to provide the students with basic understanding of the BPTC course, also hoping that it will enable the participants to approach the BPTC in the right manner at the outset.
LCLS South course coordinator Shahariar Sadat presided over the programme, also addressed by course designer M Istiaq Hasan, LCLS South head of laws Khaled Hamid Chowdhury and principal academic guidance tutor Asif Bin Anwar and Northumbria University BPTC director Kevin Crawley.
Khaled Hamid Chowdhury said the PTP would help build a foundation for the prospective BPTC candidates and develop their perception. The objective is to elevate the quality of future barristers.
Kevin Crawley said that the PTP would be an invaluable opportunity for the students. It is the most testing educational experience the students so far.
The course started on June 15 and would end on June 29.
