The Rajpara police recovered the body of a man from an under construction dormitory in Terokhedia area in the Rajshahi city on Friday. Witnesses said some miscreants hacked the man to death taking him to the fourth floor of the building at about 8.00pm.
The Rajpara police, officer-in-charge, ABM Rezaul Islam told New Age that being informed by the local people the police visited the spot, recovered body and after primary examination sent it to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
The police said after the primary investigation that the unidentified man might have been killed by his friends following a feud.
The police arrested four students of Rajshahi Institution of Health Technology suspecting them as killers, the OC said.
The arrestees were identified as Ashrafuzzaman, 22, Abul Hossain, Ashikur Rahman, 22, all three hailed from village Dhokrakul under Puthia upazila and Saniyat Hossain, of village Goranpur under Patnitola upazila in Naogaon.
The Ralpara police assistant subinspector, Shariful islam, filed a murder case in this connection.
