The registration for admission tests of 2013-14 academic year at the Rajshahi University would start on September 18 and continue till October 6, said the university authorities.
The registration process would be done through mobile phone, the authorities said.
The decision came on Sunday in a meeting of sub-committee for admission test, presided over by the RU vice-chancellor, Professor Muhammad Mizanuddin, said admission deputy registrar Aslam Hossain.
The exams will start on November 10 and continue till November 14.
The number of units was reduced to 8 from 16 this year, Aslam Hossain said.
The registration requires GPA 7.75 for the arts students, 8.25 for the commerce students and 8.50 for the science students in total, computing the
score of Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary Certificate exams and candidates have to have minimum GPA 3.75 separately in SSC and HSC.
The registration fee has been fixed at Tk 250 for a unit having a single department and the applicants are required to add Tk 50 more for adding a new department.
