Independent University, Bangladesh on Friday observed Alumni Campus Day on its permanent campus in Bashundhara Residential Area in the capital, said a press release.
IUB Founding Trust chairman Saifur Rahman, IUB board of trustees chairman Rashed Chowdhury and IUB vice-chancellor M Omar Rahman, among others, spoke on the occasion and welcomed the alumni.
A cultural programme was held, where the alumni and current students of IUB performed, the press release said.
A good number of alumni along with the members of the faculty and management attended the programme.
The IUB is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
