The Summer Open Badminton Tournament will begin on Friday at the Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium at Paltan. Tournament details were announced by the Bangladesh Badminton Federation, which had earlier signed a Tk 3-lakh deal with Roxy Paints to sponsor the five-day competition, during a press conference at the National Sports Council on Wednesday. Roxy Paints managing director Mujibur Rahman will be the tournament’s chief guest and will inaugurate the competition.
As many as 150 men and 25 women from 35 districts and associations will compete in four categories of the meet.
